I have been asked various times what I see for us in 2012. And as we move into this new year, there is a definite charge in the air about what will happen on the planet.
One thing is for certain, the “powers that were” have really stepped up the Fear Machine and we will probably see some drama coming up.
There are two aspects to the New Year. One is the end of the old, and the other is the start of the new. Even though not quite aligned with the solstice, and natural Earth rhythms, the calendar new year is charged simply by being accepted and used by millions of individuals to have closure on certain things, and place intentions of new things to come.

At this time of Hogmanay when our minds turn around to face the past year ..and then spring back to see the wide expanse of a New Year … there is also a rather odd song which is sung.
It is based on a song which Robbie Burns heard…and then did some further work on ..and speaks about whether we ought to leave behind old acquaintances … and then maybe have a drink to them … for old times sake … For Auld Lang Syne.
This year has seen many people appear in my life … some of them from my soul family … and a few of them interestingly from where I began this earthly life … on the other side of the world.
Some people have left … some are leaving … however I do not feel that I need to hang on to anything or anyone at this point.
I am trusting with the flow of the energy and just as I am welcoming new ( on this particular trip that is 
) people into my life… I am also letting others go … if that is where the energy is heading.
It all feels good…and free… and really in the great scheme of things it doesn’t matter as we are here for such a short while…. and on another level we are never really apart from anyone.
So … I say I won’t forget old acquaintances …. but I won’t try to hang on to them either … however … I will nae say noo to a wee bevvie this Hogmanay.
Good grief … as you can see … my attempts at a Scottish accent are as atrocious in written format as they are when I try to speak it … maybe a little something else I could let go of … apologies to my husband and any other Scots who happen upon this.

Blessings to all of us as we enter this highly energized year of 2012. The anticipation of personal and global transformation are heightened to a frenetic level right now, and it is important to disconnect from that collective anxiety as often as you can. Thought forms are zipping around, some in panic, some in dread, and some in the hope that a magical leap in awareness will occur this year. Be very clear on which thoughts belong to you, and which belong to the collective consciousness.

The last day of 2011 brings us energy to finally overcome an long-time obstacle, reunite with someone or something with which we have been estranged, see the truth of a situation, forgive and transcend a wrong, and accept the way things are. All of these things can be applied personally to yourself, as in overcoming a barrier you’ve put in place for yourself, reuniting with an aspect of yourself, seeing the truth in your actions and motivations, forgiving yourself for things you have done, and accepting where you are while taking responsibility for where you want to be. This astrological confluence is quite a blessing on the eve of a new year. It isn’t the new year astrologically or naturally – that comes with the New Moon in Aries in the spring. But we’ll take it! Graciously accept what your internal barometer showed you yesterday about the state of things for you now (and the state of things to come) and give thanks for the insight. Today brings the culmination of intense solar and astrological energy. Emotions remain high and situations changeable, but in the midst of all of this, we are gifted with insight and understanding about something. This information is like a barometer, helping us gauge situations. The power to “tune in” and radiate harmony is also high. Our personal energetic fields, which exists as generators of love and light on the planet, are “amped up” today. At the same time, situations or people that are radiating on the negative end of the spectrum also have their personal energetic fields magnified, so be aware of this. Mars is the big story today, prompting impulsivity and aggression but also forward movement and refreshment.

The angels do their best to get our attention and to communicate with us. In this way, they help us heal our own lives. However, we often discount the signs they give us, writing them off as mere coincidences or our imagination. The angels say: “We can’t write our messages to you in the sky. You’ve got to pay attention and believe when you see any patterns forming in your life especially in response to any questions or prayers you’ve posed. When you hear the same song repeatedly or see the same number sequence, who do you think is behind this? Your angels, of course!” 
Your angels often communicate messages to you by showing you sequences of numbers. They do this in two ways. First, they subtly whisper in your ear so you’ll look up in time to notice the clock’s time or a phone number on a billboard. The angels hope you’ll be aware that you’re seeing this same number sequence repeatedly. I’m rapidly recovering from my turtle time (sigh…), which has allowed me to catch up on some of my reading and I wanted to comment on two items.
The first is Archangel Michael’s interview from Hour with an Angel on Dec. 26 and the second is the Project Camelot Whistleblower radio program with David Wilcock, which at last I’ve had the chance to read, straggling behind the pack to do so. Let me comment on AAM today and David tomorrow.
I’ve never worked with a kinder or wiser boss than AAM. I’ve watched how he phrases things with me and the people I work with and marvelled at the manner in which he takes a person’s vasanas and shows how they can be made into virtues.
One person’s tendency to worry makes him an ideal watchdog. Another person’s thrown (1) concern for social justice makes him an ideal ombudsman. It can come in lucid dreams with unfinished business with others, emotions, issues, healing crises, and old memories that creep into your consciousness. If you have done inner work in this incarnation it could appear as putting some finishing touches on your soul’s journey of wisdom, love and knowledge. For others, it might be an onerous process. So today we are in the middle of the three-day period of intense solar and astrological effects (see yesterday’s post in the Archives for more information). The energy is unsettling and a whirlwind of rapid change is underway. The task is to be “at one” with everything, no matter what is happening. It is a test of how well we can let things be. When chaos is swirling around you, the only option is to freeze and let the outer changes take place. To me, the trees in the photograph above look like they are frozen in place with the sky all around. With the nature of the energy right now, it would be very easy to “lose it” in some way – an outburst, an over-reaction, an accident, etc. Understand the tendency for the energy to over-run you and if you feel it on your heels, counter it by grounding yourself in place and letting it blow past you. Emotions are running exceptionally high and people are at a breaking point. This will all reach a peak tomorrow, so hold tight and stay the course

How Free are you within the systems of earth around you? This moment you are called to Allow it to be, and choose your direction. Limitation is a perspective and it will not go away because it is inbuilt into the functionality of life on Earth – form. Form itself is a limitation, but there is great Freedom within that construct, for it compels expansion beyond the current limits; new form is formed, ever forming. Here you stretch your Freedom, you Progress it through time and you choose your direction of expansion through your perception. Love is experienced through choice. Love does not need, therefore, Love does not limit. While form has needs, it gives form to Love, which is limitless, thus even form is infinite in nature through the Grace of Love. This is the beauty of Time. As one perceives a limit in form and chooses a direction of change (moving ‘past’ limit), Love begins to form the new. Can you feel the energy building as we approach 2012?
It feels like a dam that’s ready to burst as the momentum that is leading to our transformation builds.
At this point we’re ready to leap into the new earth, to release the burdens we have been carrying for so long and are looking forward to a life of greater grace and ease.
Just as we think we have arrived, another issue pops up to remind us that even at higher vibrations, we will move forward in the same way we always have, one step at a time. It feels like we’re inching along but in reality the energy movement is so fast that we are unaware of the changes that are happening within and around us.
When we look forward to changes, even good, positive and helpful ones, we are in danger of living in the future and the lesson of our new energies is that there is no future, there is only the present and, if we choose to make it part of our reality, the past.
Can we learn to live in an unfolding reality where we don’t know what is going to happen next? Can we be in such a state of trust that we can set an intention and then allow the Universe to participate in its creation?
